Armor in Crimson Desert consists of equippable gear pieces that protect Kliff from enemy attacks while also providing various stat bonuses. Each armor type offers different effects depending on its level and condition. Over time, gear can wear down but can be restored or improved through repairs and upgrades at a smithy.
Armor Types
- Headgear: Worn on the head, these pieces boost defense and can grant bonuses like faster movement or reduced incoming damage.
- Gloves: Equipped on the hands and arms, gloves enhance defense and may improve stats such as critical hit chance or mobility.
- Body Armor: The primary source of protection, covering the torso. It offers strong defensive value and can include bonuses like elemental resistance or movement boosts.
- Cloaks: Worn over the shoulders, cloaks don’t add direct defense but provide utility effects such as resistances, speed increases, or crit-related bonuses.
- Footwear: Equipped on the feet, these items provide a mix of defensive and offensive perks, often improving speed, resistances, or critical performance.
Acquisition & Upgrades: Most armor pieces can be purchased from Tailor vendors and enhanced or repaired at smithies located throughout Pywel.
