Crimson Desert Fast Travel Guide: How to Unlock and Use Abyss Nexus

Fast travel in Pywel uses Abyss Nexus floor plates and Abyss Cresset puzzle unlocks. Step on a white ? circle to turn it blue and teleport from the map.

Quick Answer

Find the round floor plate (white ? on the map), stand on the center to activate. It becomes a blue icon. Open the map, hover the icon, choose Teleport.

About 47 Abyss Nexus points exist across Hernand, Pailune, Demeniss, Delesyia, and the Crimson Desert map. 40 Abyss Restoration challenges unlock sky-island travel and skydives.

Not every ? is a Nexus; some are other exploration markers. For puzzle-heavy Mysterious Energy zones that unlock Cressets or Nexus points (e.g. Howling Hill disk, Duskwood pillars), use the Mysterious Energy zones guide.

How to Find Nexus Points

Use map filters (All or Environment), Guiding Light, or your lantern to spot white ? plates and blue unlocked Nexus icons.
  • Set map filter to All or Environment.
  • Use lantern or Blinding Flash to spot plates from range.
  • Guiding Light on sword: L1+R1 (PS), LB+RB (Xbox), Ctrl + Left Click (PC) to make nearby points glow blue.
  • Look for round flat platforms on the ground.

Activate and Travel

  1. Locate the Abyss Nexus plate.
  2. Stand on the center until it registers.
  3. Map icon turns blue.
  4. Open map, select blue icon, Teleport.

Some quests or areas block teleport until you finish or leave.

Early Points Near Hernand

  • Three Saints' Falls Abyss Nexus, southwest of Three Saints' Falls, near Shadows' Whisper Cave.
  • Abyss Cresset of Meandering Hills, after Lioncrest Watchtower in Unexpected Gift.
  • Abyss Cresset of A Hill Guided by Light, Hernand area.
  • Karin Quarry Abyss Nexus, east of Three Saints' Falls, north of trading post (Bleed Bandits area, Chapter 3). The same quarry area is where you fetch the Abyss Teleporter Disk for Howling Hill — see Mysterious Energy at Howling Hill.
  • Abyss Nexus south of Hernand Castle, behind the Smithy in Hernand Town.

Abyss Realm

Abyss realm teleports unlock through the main story before Axiom Archive. Damiane cannot use these points.

Tips

  • Ring all 8 bells to reveal the full map, then collect Nexuses while exploring.
  • Sky island points from Restoration enable long drops into surrounding zones.
  • For Cressets, skills like Force Palm, Nature's Grasp, Focus, Stab matter for many trials; consider Chapter 3 progress first.
