What Is Realm of Uncertainty in Crimson Desert
Realm of Uncertainty is the third Main Quest in Crimson Desert, picking up right after Myurdin kills Kliff and pushes him into the river. Kliff wakes up somewhere he definitely wasn't before, and the game uses this moment as a full movement tutorial. There is no combat here.
The whole quest is a single objective: move forward. You're going to learn the core platforming mechanics, pick up the Blinding Flash skill, and work through a handful of environmental puzzles before a cutscene drops you somewhere completely different.

01 Move Forward
Follow the path ahead. This section teaches you the basics of getting around: jumping, jumping to a target, vaulting, wall climbing, and moving while crouching. None of it is especially tricky, just make sure you're paying attention to the prompts as they show up so nothing surprises you later.
Eventually the path leads to a locked door with a glowing sphere above it. This is where you learn Blinding Flash. Hold L1 + R1 to get into the Blinding Flash stance. Then, while still holding R1, press L1 again to start concentrating light and aim it at the sphere. Keep the light locked on until the sphere activates, then head through the door.
Past the door are three moving platforms. Get across them and keep following the path. The next room is dark, and you'll be introduced to the Lantern here, which lights up your surroundings while you explore. Follow the glowing pipe.
You'll come out into a new area with an artifact at the far end. Step onto it to trigger a cutscene. When it's over, Kliff is at the side of a river, surrounded by fishermen. A man named Sebastian calls out to him and asks him to come inside. The quest ends here and rolls into New Journey.

Tips and Notes
The Blinding Flash skill you learn during this quest is yours to keep. It carries into regular gameplay once the Prologue wraps up.
