What Is Where the Light Leads in Crimson Desert
Where the Light Leads is a Main Quest in Crimson Desert's Chapter 2. After the Chapter 1 finale, Rulupee's pendant starts glowing and points Kliff toward Lioncrest Watchtower, southwest of the City of Hernand. There's a bandit camp there. Clear it, learn how to use a flaming arrow to burn away the vines blocking the entrance, and climb to the top.

- 03 Ascend Lioncrest Watchtower
Full Walkthrough
01 Go to Lioncrest Watchtower
At the end of Woman in White, a cutscene shows Kliff studying the pendant and glancing toward the watchtower. That's your cue. Head southwest from the City of Hernand. You'll encounter a few bandits on the way up the hill; deal with them and keep moving toward the tower.
02 Defeat the Bandits Occupying Lioncrest Watchtower
A full bandit camp has taken over the base of the tower. Start with the archers to cut off ranged pressure, then work through the rest. Once the area is clear, you'll notice the tower entrance is covered in vines. This triggers a tutorial on environmental interaction: light an arrow and fire it at the vines to set them on fire and clear the path into the tower.
03 Ascend Lioncrest Watchtower
Head inside and go up the stairs. On one of the landings you'll pass a large chest. Opening it requires a disguise, so skip it if you don't have one equipped. Continue up to the top floor, where you'll find a small study and items to inspect. Examining the room ends this quest and begins Memory Fragment automatically.
Tips and Notes
The large chest on the way up needs a disguise to open legitimately. More details on the consequences of opening it without one are in the Memory Fragment quest guide.
