What Is Trial After Trial in Crimson Desert
Trial After Trial is a Main Quest in Crimson Desert's Chapter 2, one of four quests that unlock from Where Misery Gathers. A farmer named Bremer had his house blown apart and his cows stolen by bandits. Kliff looks into it. You'll follow a witness to a bandit camp, fight your way through, and use the Visione to read a memory fragment that reveals what actually happened to the cows.

Full Walkthrough
01 Speak with the Despairing Man
Head to the Hernand Farmhouse, northwest of Springtide Mill and south of Muckroot Ranch. You'll find Bremer in the middle of a confrontation with some angry villagers he made promises to about his cattle. Once they leave, Kliff steps in and Bremer explains: his house was blown apart and his cows were taken by bandits. Kliff says he'll track them down.
02 Speak with the Witness
A witness by the road to the south claims to have seen where the bandits went. Speak with them. After some brief talk about Bremer, one of the Alchemists in the group volunteers to lead you there on horseback. Follow them to Anvil Riverside Bandit Camp. On the ride, the Alchemist mentions the "Sky Boulder" that Willian talked about as the likely cause of Bremer's house exploding. You'll pass a couple of Bremer's cows near Equinsher Saddlery on the way.
03 Read the Memory Fragment
The bandit camp is set up on the roadside and has a decent number of enemies. Lure them out to the open road before engaging. Fighting inside the camp is harder because the foliage and scattered gear limit your movement. Clear them out, then equip your Lantern to scan the camp for the memory fragment. It'll pulse when you're close; the fragment shows up as floating blue dots. Scan it, then equip the Visione helm to read it. The memory shows a Goldleaf Merchant and a bandit talking about how the cows went wild and died on their own. There's a Palmar Pill on top of one of the crates in camp. You can also skin the dead cows for materials before you leave.
04 Return to Bremer
Head back to Bremer at the Hernand Farmhouse with the news. You may run into more bandits on the way; sneak past or fight through, your call. Speak with Bremer, collect your reward, and he'll ask you to go after whoever was responsible. The quest ends there.

Tips and Notes
Pull the Anvil Riverside camp enemies out to the road before fighting. The foliage inside makes it significantly harder to manage spacing and keep track of who's coming at you.
