Full Walkthrough
01 Talk to Annabella
Speak with Annabella at her shop outside Hernand Saddlery. She wants to make a saddle that stands out, and she spotted a fish by the river with scales she could use as decoration. She hands you a Fishing Rod and asks you to catch a fish with large scales for her.
02 Catch a Tench
Head north from Hernand Saddlery toward the river. You will run into bandits on the way, so be ready to fight through. Before crossing the Three Saints Fall bridge, check the structure on the left side of the approach: there is a Sealed Abyss Artifact there that is easy to miss.
Cross the bridge and take the path down to the right to reach the riverbank. Equip the Fishing Rod and cast near where a tench is sitting in the water. While reeling: move the left stick opposite to the fish's direction to keep the line from snapping, and once the fish tires out, rotate the right stick clockwise to bring it in. Don't reel too hard or the line will break.
03 Hand Over the Tench
With the tench in hand, go to Bloomwood Ranch in Sekris Estate, southeast of the City of Hernand. Find Annabella's Assistant near a flower shop arranging fabrics. Hand over the tench. She thanks you and says she'll make a saddle for your horse next time you meet. The quest ends there.
Tips and Notes
Don't skip the Sealed Abyss Artifact on the structure near the Three Saints Fall bridge on your way to the fishing spot. It is on the left side before the bridge and easy to walk past.
